Take the surprise out of monthly energy bills by signing up for budget billing.

Wright-Hennepin’s budget billing payment program takes the seasonal peaks and valleys out of your electric bill by allowing you to pay a set amount each month.

This set monthly payment amount is based on an average of your previous year’s electric use. Once you've signed up, you will be billed a set amount for 11 months, with the 12th month designated as a reconciliation month. When you've reached the 12th month, if you have used less energy than you've paid for at that time, you'll have a credit applied to your invoice. If you've used more electricity than projected by your set amount, the 12th month will reflect a charge for the additional balance due.
