Family Fun at Wright-Hennepin's Annual Meeting

It’s time to get out and enjoy an evening with family and fellow cooperative members at Wright-Hennepin’s (WH) 78th Annual Meeting on March 26. Your WH employees have a great evening planned for the entire family starting at 4 p.m.
Girl Scouts will have a ton of fun activities to keep the kids busy in our children’s area, where they can enter a special prize drawing to win one of four kid’s bikes!
We have bingo available for the adults with prizes to be won, so the kids won’t be the only ones having fun.
An abundance of informational booths will also feature prizes other than the greatest prize of all: knowledge and information.
Are you curious about electric cars or energy efficient appliances? How about learning how government regulations affect your electric bill? Want to know more about LED lighting, or solar power? We will have the answers for you along with many other great booths.
Make sure to save a seat for the business meeting. Special guest speaker Bob Engel, CEO of CoBank, will touch on industry trends and how they will affect electric consumers. Board of Directors Chair Chris Lantto and President & CEO Mark Vogt will also share how your coop preformed in 2014, and what we need to do to keep WH relevant for you moving into A New Era for Energy. Chair of WH Holding Tom Mach will also speak on the performance of WH’s diversified businesses. Be sure to stick around after the meeting, as we’ll be announcing the grand prize winner of a 2005 Chevy extended cab pickup truck.
For all the bakers out there, don’t fret, members that attend the business meeting will once again receive a free pound of butter as you leave for the evening.
Take a gander at WH’s website for a full agenda of the event and a complete list of featured booths.
So stop by WH’s headquarters located behind the Rockford mall on March 26 for food, fun and information. We hope to see you there!
