Emerald Ash Borer treatment
The Emerald Ash Borer bug is in Minnesota. The Minnesota Department of Agriculture has posted the following online map to show where positive identification of the bug have been made. Even if the bug has not made it to your area, it is a good idea to be aware of the signs and symptoms of your trees. You may have noticed there is a ban on transporting fire wood, and that is mostly to prevent the spread of this bug.
The signs and symptoms of the Emerald Ash Borer bug include canopy dieback, bark splitting and increased activity from woodpeckers.
